Membership

By being a member you are showing your support for our mission to preserve architecturally and historically significant sites, objects and landscapes in the Salem area.

Individual membership fee is $20 per year. You can pay using PayPal.

Donate

Following are ways that you can donate to the Salem Preservation Society.

Money

We need financial support for specific projects and for the general preservation fund. You may earmark your donation or apply it to the most need. You can use the PayPal button below to donate right now!

In Kind

Materials for our projects are always welcome. Whether it's building supplies like bricks and mortar, paint, or professional services, we appreciate your contributions. We can provide you with a statement for taxes if you need it.

Time

We have no paid staff. We rely entirely on volunteers to do research, plan and execute activities, and give presentations. There are an endless number of projects for which we can use your help. You don't even need to be a member to get involved. Let us know your interests and you can start to work right away.

Estate Bequests

Perhaps you are in position to leave a legacy. Have a lasting impact on Salem by setting aside a part of your estate for preservation. You accountant or attorney can help you to set up a one time donation or trust funds for Salem Preservation.

Knowledge, Information, and Historic Resources

We are always looking for original or reproduction documents which support preservation. Deeds, photos, drawings, blueprints, journals, and materials related to buildings and the people and activities that occured in them are welcome.
